Jenna Strauch

Australian Dolphins

Jenna Strauch’s swimming journey is a testament to resilience and dedication. After representing Australia at the 2013 FINA World Junior Swimming Championships, she faced adversity when illness forced her out of the pool. Undeterred, Jenna recovered and relocated to the Gold Coast, Queensland, to continue pursuing her passion for swimming.

While studying Biomedical Sciences at Bond University on the prestigious Gina Rinehart Swimming Excellence Scholarship, Jenna balanced her academic pursuits with intensive training under coach Richard Scarce. Her hard work paid off when she clinched her first national title at the Australian National Long Course Championships in 2019, propelling her onto the global stage.

Jenna’s remarkable achievements include representing Australia at the 2020 Summer Olympics and securing silver medals at the 2022 Budapest World Championships and the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Beyond her success in the pool, Jenna is a member of the Athlete Leadership Group for the Australian Dolphins, demonstrating her commitment to both her sport and her community.
