Stanthorpe Sports Association, in collaboration with its member clubs, embarked on a transformative funding project aimed at redevelopment of their changeroom facilities. This initiative brought together multiple sporting clubs under a unified vision to enhance community infrastructure and support local sports development.

Project Scope: The scope of the project encompassed the planning, coordination, and execution of fundraising activities to secure sufficient funds for the comprehensive redevelopment of changeroom facilities across multiple sports clubs affiliated with Stanthorpe Sports Association. Key aspects included:

  • Needs Assessment: Conducting thorough assessments to identify current facility deficiencies and future requirements aligned with club needs and community standards.
  • Project Planning: Developing a detailed project plan encompassing timelines, resource allocation, budget estimation, and stakeholder engagement strategies.

Welcome to the latest addition to Sunny Skyes Aquatics and Wellness Hub – an innovative All Abilities Trampoline.

  • Safety First: Safety is paramount in every aspect of our design. The trampoline is equipped with high-quality padding and non-slip surfaces to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for all users.
  • Community Integration: By installing this trampoline, Sunny Skyes Aquatics and Wellness Hub is now better equipped to serve the entire community. It provides a space where families, individuals, and groups can come together, promoting social interaction and physical activity.

Gold Coast Council | Nerang

Eximm is proud to have undertaken and successfully completed a refurbishment project at the Nerang Velodrome. The scope of work included significant improvements to the garden beds, installation of essential infrastructure, and site enhancements to support the functionality and aesthetics of the velodrome.

Garden Bed Works

  • Removal and Refurbishment:
    • Removed an existing garden bed.
    • Refurbished two garden beds with concrete sleepers, new soil, mulch, plants, and turf.
  • Downpipe Installation:
    • Installed a new downpipe directing water to a gravel pit for improved drainage.

Site 2 Enhancements

  • Garden Bed Removal:
    • Removed the existing garden bed, including sleepers and posts.
  • Site Preparation:
    • Leveled the site, wet cut asphalt, and excavated for slab and footings.
  • Concrete Work:
    • Prepared formwork, reinforced, and placed broom-finished concrete
  • Retaining Wall and Kerb:
    • Constructed a 200 series retaining wall and kerb.
  • Handrail and Bike Racks:
    • Installed a handrail atop the kerb and seven bike racks.
  • Drainage System:
    • Reinstated sub-soil drainage along the new retaining wall to the gravel pit.

Eximm designed and constructed a range of rooms to showcase an extensive collection of memorabilia for a private client. From autographed jerseys and championship trophies to rare artefacts and vintage photographs, these rooms immerse visitors in a journey through time, capturing the essence of greatness.

AB Patterson | Gold Coast

The Temporary Change Rooms project at AB Patterson College involved the design and construction of temporary change room facilities to accommodate the athletes and students involved.

These temporary installations were strategically positioned to provide convenient access for players and staff, while also adhering to the highest standards of functionality, hygiene, and safety.

Zillmere Eagles AFC | Zillmere

The Zillmere Eagles AFL Internal Change Room Refurbishment project aimed to breathe new life into our aging change room facilities, which had stood since the 1970s. This internal renovation encompassed a range of upgrades and enhancements designed to bring inclusivity and accessibility for players, coaches, and staff alike.

  1. Modernised Layout: The refurbishment optimised the layout of the change rooms to maximise space efficiency and usability, catering to the needs of both male and female athletes.
  2. Enhanced Amenities: Upgraded showers and toilet facilities were installed, ensuring comfort and convenience for all users.

Coolangatta Blues AFC | Coolangatta

The official opening of the $830,000 Tweed Coolangatta AFL Facilities marks the culmination of a project that was initially just a concept over four years ago. Despite facing numerous obstacles, including the onset of COVID-19, construction finally commenced, thanks to the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders involved. With support from the City of Gold Coast, AFL Queensland, Queensland Sport and Recreation, and the diligent work of Business Development & Construction Manager, Paul Coughlan, the project was successfully completed. This achievement serves as a shining example of community resilience and solidarity during challenging times.

The completion of the project underscores the commitment of Eximm Sport to delivering on their promises to the community. The presence of Youth Affairs Minister and Member for Gaven, The Honourable Meaghan Scanlon, and Councillor Gail O’Neill at the official opening further highlights the significance of this milestone. With the new facilities in place, the club is poised for many years of success, providing a valuable asset for the local community to enjoy.

Surfers Paradise Rugby Club | Surfers Paradise

Eximm worked with Surfers Paradise Rugby Club to secure grant funding amounting to $35,000, facilitating the delivery of the Supply & Install Full Colour LED Scoreboard Board. Taking charge of the grant application process, Eximm successfully obtained the necessary funding and spearheaded the upgrade from a manual scoreboard to an electronic one. Throughout the project, Eximm managed all aspects, including certifications, council approvals, and building requirements, ensuring a seamless experience for the rugby club.

The Eximm team upgraded 3 coaches boxes inline with AFL Standards.

Carins Table Tennis Club | Cairns

Our regional Queensland client in Cairns, Table Tennis, successfully accessed grant funding through our assistance. We provided comprehensive support, handling the grant writing, access, and delivery process for multiple projects, including the refurbishment of their signage. Collaborating closely with subcontractors, we ensured a smooth and efficient project delivery, meeting the club’s needs effectively.
