Danika Goodman

Head of Sport

Danika Goodman is one of Southeast Queensland’s most dynamic young leaders in sport and community development, renowned for her ability to deliver high-impact events and build meaningful pathways for athletes. As Community Development Manager at Eximm Sport and Operations Manager at Sports Gold Coast, Danika spearheads some of the city’s most prestigious initiatives — including the Gold Coast Sports Awards, which celebrate Olympians, Paralympians, grassroots heroes, and trailblazers shaping the region’s sporting future.

Danika is also the driving force behind Grow for Gold, a flagship legacy program providing long-term funding and support to Gold Coast athletes on the road to Brisbane 2032. Through this initiative, she has secured more than $300,000 in athlete funding, helping young athletes access the resources they need to perform on the world stage.

An AFL Players’ Association Accredited Agent, Danika leads Eximm Sport’s talent management division, guiding emerging AFL talent and professional athletes with the same precision and care she applies to her event delivery. Her expertise spans community sport, high-performance environments, grant funding, marketing, and athlete management — making her a trusted advocate for both clubs and individuals.

Passionate, organised, and relentlessly driven, Danika is committed to using sport as a platform for opportunity, connection, and inclusion — ensuring the next generation of athletes, volunteers, and sporting leaders have the chance to thrive.
